Vacancies for jobs and consultancies with the IIMP are posted on the UN Careers website and will also be advertised here. All applications must be submitted through the UN’s online platform Inspira. 

At present, all IIMP staff work from its headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. In the future, field offices may be opened if and when circumstances permit. 

To ensure accessibility to Syrians in line with the IIMP’s victim and survivor-centred approach, job openings may require Arabic or other relevant languages as well as experience in implementing victim-centred and gender-sensitive approaches. There are no restrictions as to which nationalities may apply.  

The IIMP recruits its staff in accordance with the UN Charter and the applicable UN rules and regulations. Accordingly, it prioritizes the highest standards of efficiency, competence and integrity in the employment of staff. Due regard will be paid to recruiting staff on as wide a geographical basis as possible. The United Nations places no restrictions on the eligibility of men and women to participate equally in any capacity.
