Supporting victims’ right to know the truth

The Independent Institution is dedicated to determining the fate and whereabouts of all missing persons in Syria, and to supporting victims, including survivors and families of the missing. 

Established by the UN General Assembly in June 2023, it is currently in the process of launching its substantive work.
